Oxford Cycle Workshop is a non-profit community project that recycles abandoned bikes in Oxford for resale at low cost to local people.

Membership of Oxford Cycle Workshop

During the evenings, and at weekends, the Oxford Cycle Workshop is open to all. Join as a member and you’ll get:

• A 4 lesson basic cycle maintenance course
• 30% off all spares you buy from the shop (see table opposite for typical savings)
• The entitlement to rent a workshop bay by the hour to fix your own bike, with professional tools and expert advice on hand
• A regular newsletter with details of cycling events, special offers, bikes for sale and more
  

Membership costs £25 per year (£15 unwaged/student)

Typical membership savings on one year’s basic maintenance:

• 3 punctures
• 2 new tyres
• 1 general service
• 2 pairs of brake blocks
• 2 new cables fitted
• new lock and set of lights

  Total cost: £100
  Cost to member: £64
