Bike sales at the Oxford Cycle Workshop

By recycling all the unwanted bikes in Oxford, we keep a full stock of fully reconditioned bikes at bargain prices. You may find a bike cheaper via a private sale, but beware, unless you know what to look for, an apparently roadworthy bike may require £50 worth of repair work within weeks. Buy a bike from us and you can be sure it's been fully serviced - plus you can come back to us if you have any problems.

Our turnover of bikes is too rapid to list all the bikes currently for sale here, but below you will find examples of bikes we've sold, plus listings of each type of bike we do with the pros and cons of each, and guide prices.

Mountain bike

Racer

Hybrid

Roadster

Rugged off-roaders, with small frames, low gears and tough 26" wheels. Nippy and light, with high gears and drop bars for an aerodynamic riding position. Chunkier than a racer but speedier than a mountain bike on the roads. Simple gears and a relaxed riding position.
